WILLIAM EDWARD MONTERO
November 28, 1949 ~ April 22, 2018
William Edward Montero, 68, known by most as "Bill", passed away April 22, 2018 in Vancouver, WA. He was the partner to Mary Kaser and they shared 14 years together.
Bill was born in Hayward, CA on Nov. 28, 1949 and was the son of Albert and Eleanor Montero. He attended and graduated from Silverton Union High in 1967 and went on to graduate from Oregon State University with a degree in Agricultural Engineering in 1972.
Amongst other employers, Bill worked and retired from Widmer Brewing Company in Portland, OR. He was happily employed there for 22 years.
Bill was a member of the Buick Club and Investment Club and served as a Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader. He enjoyed tinkering on his cars in his shop and attended many car shows with his friends and family.
Bill is survived by his children: William Jr. (Coral), Anthony (Rebecca) and Traci (Jake); his partner, Mary Kaser and her children, Nathan (Lisa) and Eric (Jackie) Kaser; grandchildren: Hailey, Juliana, Cally, Kingston, Parker, Maxwell, Aganya and Nick; as well as his siblings: Albert Jr. (Mary) and Bob (Kathy).
