July 12, 1928 ~ April 13, 2011

Every so often, the Lord takes a person that just makes you wonder if the good folks on the other side needed a caring soul with a high fun factor to shake things up a bit. That's certainly the case with Bill Boettcher, 82, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother who began enjoying his eternal reward on April 13, 2011. He was born to Lloyd and Imogene Boettcher.
It's hard not to smile when thinking about Bill,
even in this time of sorrow. His spirit, from a very
young age, provided proof that this physical world
was created to enjoy to its fullest. He did.
Bill had a successful law firm in Vancouver since 1953, specializing in personal injury law. He was a mentor to many, five of whom went on to become judges.
He met and married the love of his life, Joan, in 1990. He was very proud of his three children, Bill, Becky Weis, and Charles; Joan's children, Rick Aregger, Patti Maltase, Randy Aregger, Theresa Jones and Ron Dunkin, who loved Bill as a friend and father; his many grandchildren miss him greatly; as well as his brother, Bob Boettcher, his wife, Virginia and their children.
Please join us at the Celebration of Life on Friday, April 22, 1:00 p.m. at Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver.
Remembrances to the American Alzheimer's Foundation.
