TRAVIS AARON CLARIDGE Travis, It seems impossible to put into words the love we have for you. We are left with such emptiness and sorrow, yet we know you would not want us to mourn, but to celebrate your life. You inspired people who knew of you by your accomplishments on the football field, however, it was your close friends and family who knew that you were so much more. You were a giant man with a gentle soul, giving all you had until your journey took you to a new place. You were not a man of material possessions. All you ever needed to make you happy was to love and be loved. I lived my dreams through the life we created. The goals we set in your youth, you accomplished with grace and determination. Your professional football awards were impressive, however my reward was to watch your life unfold as a man of honor. Thank you son for becoming the man I always wanted to be. "If you shoot for the moon and you miss, you will still land among the stars" Love, Dad A memorial service will be held on April 1, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Fort Vancouver High School Auditorium to honor Travis. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Travis Claridge Memorial Fund through any U.S. Bank. Donations will be used to fund the Athletic Dept. at Fort Vancouver High School.
