SUSAN M. ARMSTRONG
September 16, 1952 ~ May 29, 2016
"Sue had a soft heart that reached to
those in need, gaining several close friends."

Sue passed away at Community Home Health & Hospice in Salmon Creek (Vancouver, WA) from complications from painful aplastic anemia and heart failure. She grew up in Venersborg, attended Battle Ground, WA public schools and Clark College.
Sue remained single all her life living and working in Clark County: in sales at car dealerships, Sears at VanMall, etc.
She was a skilled seamstress and had excellent artistic and photographic abilities and volunteered as church secretary.
Sue is survived by 7 first cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Elsie K. Armstrong.
A memorial service will be held June 25, 2016 at 2p.m. at Venersborg Church, 24317 NE 209th St., Battle Ground.

I'm sorry to hear of Susan's passing, I have pleasant memories of her at Moberg family reunions. It was also nice to see her when she worked at Sears and catch up on family news.

My heart is broken for Sue's family. She was terrific and I'm mad at myself for losing touch with her. I will hold the ones I love closer. I'm sorry you suffered, you deserved much better.
