STEVEN RICHARD DONALD
October 29, 1959 ˜ September 27, 2018
Steven Richard Donald, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2018.
He was born to Bob and Mary Donald, of Woodland, WA on October 29, 1959.
Steve grew up on his family’s dairy farm, working hard from a young age, and later partnered in the running of the farm with his father and brothers.
He is remembered by all for his fun-loving sense of humor and his ability to make everyone around him feel at ease. Steve loved Jesus, and was a spiritual mentor to many throughout his life. He always had a positive attitude, and cared for the needs of others above his own. Steve was generous to everyone, and always had time for the people in his life.
His hobbies included woodworking, photography, hiking, and finding a good huckleberry patch.
He enjoyed friendships with many in his church family at Vancouver Church.
Steve is survived by his mother, Mary Donald; his siblings, Jim Donald (Vicki), David Donald (Julie), Patty Donald, Janice Watts (Mike), Margie McCoin (Dean), Kristy Ryan (Tony), Legesse Tetemke (Mulu), Wasi Tetemke (Seble), Aster Tetemke, Mebrat Tetemke (Tsegai) and Aram Tetemke (Beserat); and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert ”Bob” Donald.
A memorial service will be held at Vancouver Church, 3300 NE 78th St., Vancouver, WA, at 2 p.m on Saturday, October 6th.

I am so sorry for your loss. Knowing that Steve has left this earth for his eternal home still does not take away how much you will miss him here on earth. I have such positive memories of Steve from the church youth group pack-ins and other youth group activities.
