STEPHEN DOUGLAS WITHAM
February 29, 1948 ~ July 23, 2016

Steve was born on Leap Day, 1948 in Woodburn, OR to Elmer and Hilda Witham.
He had been a resident of Vancouver, WA since the early 1980's, and attended Crossroads Community Church for most of those years.
Steve was an ordained minister, former mental health counselor and chaplain. Up until the last week of his life, Steve continued to volunteer at the Red Cross Donation Center and The Veterans Hospital in Vancouver.
Steve will be remembered for his
deep love of his family, church family, as well as
for his Savior Jesus Christ. His fabulous sense of humor carried him through many hard times in his life.
Steve is survived by Rusti Hixson Witham, his wife of 30 years; his brothers, Michael and Greg Witham; his four children, Jonathan (Kristin) Witham, Jeremy Witham, Amy (Michael) Hixson Anderson, and Adam Hixson. Steve deeply loved his eight grandchildren: Amy Kate, Sam, Abigail and Natalie Anderson, Haley and Trevor Beatty, and Luke and Sarah Witham.
The family would be honored to have you join them in a celebration of his life on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Noon at Crossroads Community Church, 7808 NE 78th Street, Vancouver, WA.
