April 10, 1932 ~ February 9, 2011

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all, Ruby Marie Francis, died Feb. 9, 2011 at the age of 78. Ruby was born April 10, 1932 in Rockland, OH to parents Alda Adelle and Charles Alfred Covey. She graduated from Belpre High School.
Ruby was married to Ken Francis for 60 years and they have lived in Battle Ground, WA for the past 48 years.
Family came first with Ruby and her primary goal was to make sure everyone was happy and doing well. She had the gift of hospitality, enjoyed cooking, and made every family occasion so special. A genuine love and concern for others was evident as she would help anyone in need.
Ruby had a positive attitude and was always one
who looked for and found the good in others.
A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ruby loved serving in Scouting and the women's Relief Society program.
Ruby is survived by daughters, Belinda Ingman, Jane Nyholm, and Lea Ann Tiffany; son, John Francis; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Russell Covey; and sister, Ruth Ann Cunningham.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Kenneth; both parents; and her husband, Ken, who passed away last December.
Funeral services will be held Wed., Feb. 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 14809 NE 259th Street, Battle Ground.
