Roy LeGrand Moultrie, 93, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away peacefully at his home on November 20, 2018. He has lived in the area for over 65 years. Roy was born on January 6, 1925 to Clarence Henry Moultrie and Ada Manila Palmer at Levan, Utah.
He served in the Army during WWII and was a Medic Aid in India.
Roy was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, attending the Cascade Park Ward.
He enjoyed camping and doing genealogy work as well as working as an ordinance worker at both the Seattle and Portland Temples with his 1st wife Juanita.
He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 701.
Roy is survived by his 2nd wife, Nancy; his 4 children, Daniel, Cindy, Joe and Rick; 3 step-children, 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, his younger sister and 3 younger brothers.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Juanita; and 9 of his siblings.
His memorial service will held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints McGillivray building, 13600 SE McGillivray Blvd., Vancouver, Washington at 12p.m.
