August 19, 1924 ˜ January 27,

On an ordinary day, an extraordinary man went to be with the Lord. Robert (Bob) Taylor Lundeen passed away at the age of 96 on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, in Hubbard, OR. He was born on Aug. 19, 1924 to Frederick and Gladys (Taylor) Lundeen in Moline, IL. Bob married E. Marion Hanson in Moline in 1947. He attended Augustana College and graduated from the University of Illinois Medical School in 1953. “Dr. Bob” served the people of Federal Way, WA, for 35 years. He had the heart of a servant and was beloved by all who knew him.
After retirement, and the death of his beloved wife Marion, Bob moved to Vancouver, WA, where he lived for 22 years. He married Dena Skinner in 1998. He was very active in the Fairway Village community as well as at Mill Plain United Methodist Church. He was known for his gentle and kind spirit and his great sense of humor, telling stories, jokes, and singing some of his many humorous songs. He seemed to have a goofy song for every occasion and was never shy about giving a rendition. Bob moved to Spring Ridge Senior Living Center in Wilsonville, OR, in 2017.
Bob is survived by his sons, Greg (Linda) Lundeen, Hubbard, OR; Jeff (Sunhi) Lundeen, Neenah, WI; and Tom (Jan) Lundeen, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Matt Lundeen, Scott (Natalia) Lundeen, Jennifer (Jake) Siegfried, Kristina (Luke) Middendorf, and Erik (Bethany) Lundeen; five great-grandchildren; half-sister, JoAnn Bratcher; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Marion Lundeen, Dena Lundeen; brothers, Cliff Lundeen and Dick Lundeen, and half-brother James Keith.
He leaves behind an indelible mark on all who knew him, but especially his family. He loved God, he loved his family, and he loved life. We are grateful to have been chosen to be a part of his journey this side of heaven. We grieve at our loss but rejoice in the assurance that we will be reunited again one day in glory!
A memorial service at Community of Hope Church in Wilsonville and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
