Robert Ernest Starr

Bob was born to Ralph and Fenna (Ann) Starr in Portland, Oregon. He was a twin and the youngest of four brothers. The family moved to Vancouver, WA, where he attended and graduated from Evergreen High School in 1959.
Bob then joined the Navy and was later employed by Crown Zellerbach and all of the various names of the company. He was the Motor Records Man at the mill in Camas, WA. Bob retired in 2004 and moved to Cougar, WA.
His hobbies included reloading, genealogy, hiking and keeping track of the weather. He really enjoyed having the most rainfall around the area.
Bob was a lifetime member of the NRA and a weather spotter for the National Weather Service.
Bob is survived by his wife, Julia Starr; sons, Robert Starr, Jr. and Jack Starr; brother, William Starr; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all. At his request, no service will be held.
