RICHARD ”DICK” BAKER
December 24, 1937 ˜ November 13, 2018

Richard ”Dick” Baker, 80, died at home in Vancouver, WA, in the arms of his two sons on Nov. 13, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born on Dec. 24, 1937 in Helena, MT to Art and Marguerite Baker.
Dick was employed by the US Forest Service from 1971 until his retirement in 1999. He loved his time in the forest where he felt especially close to God.
Dick and Dot have been snowbirds the past 15 years in Mesa, AZ where they enjoyed many new friends.
Dick is survived by his wife, Doteen, whom he married in 1962; their sons, Michael and Daniel; grandson, Jordan; and his siblings, Jim, Bonne, Pat and Bob.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thurs., Nov. 29 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Vancouver, WA.
Memorials may be directed to Kaiser Hospice or St. Vincent de Paul at St. John the Evangelist.
