Ralph Clarence Mitchell, 95, of Vancouver, WA, formerly of Ridgefield, passed away at home on Sunday, April 15, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born March 24, 1923 in Russellville, AL, the oldest of six children of Dewey and Nancy Mitchell.
Ralph served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Gunners Mate during WWII and a submariner during the Korean War.
He had a rewarding career of over 50 years as the Chief Engineer for Lucky Lager Brewing and Pabst Brewing.
Ralph is survived by his loving family, which includes 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia; his daughter, Debbie; and his grandson, Christopher.
Viewing for Ralph will be 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 20th at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be 12:30 p.m., Saturday, April 21st at Amazing Grace Baptist Church, 6902 NE Hazel Dell Ave., Vancouver, WA 98665.
