Obituary

PAUL "SCOTT" CHARPILLOZ
November 25, 1961 ~ February 9, 2011

"We have lost our much loved father, son, brother and friend."

Paul "Scott" Charpilloz of Vancouver, WA, passed away from a sudden stroke on Feb. 9, 2011, at the age of 49. He was born on Nov. 25, 1961 in Vancouver, the oldest of four children born to Darrell and Sharon Charpilloz. Scott attended Battle Ground Elementary, Lewisville Middle School and graduated from Prairie High School in 1980. He spent his school years active in 4H and FFA, showing Jersey dairy cows.
He also enjoyed playing little league baseball, and as an adult played on the Blue Goose Coed Slow Pitch Softball team.
Scott worked as a construction foreman, truck driver and heavy equipment operator. However, he took after his grandfather, and farming was his passion. So in 2007, he partnered to begin C & M Hay Farm, LLC. When Scott wasn't on a tractor or trucking hay, he would be indulging in his other passions of hunting, fishing and shooting guns.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving family: sons, Andrew and Brody of Baker City, OR and Cole of Yacolt, WA; wife, Margaret, of Yacolt; parents, Sharon and Dana Chick of Woodland, WA and Darrell and Jesusa Charpilloz of Vancouver; in-laws, Steve and Evelyn Johnson of La Center, WA; sisters, Teresa (Michael) Magnuson of Wassilla, AK and Cindy (Tom) Langston of Vancouver; and brother, Kevin (Denise) Charpilloz of Vancouver.
