With her family at her side, Nola Pauline Betzing of Vancouver, WA, passed away at the Mennonite Home in Albany, OR on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the age of 95. Pauline was born September 3, 1915 in Hotsprings, AR. She later moved to Vancouver, WA in 1930. Pauline graduated from Vancouver High School class of 1934. Pauline was a medical receptionist and mother. She enjoyed helping with Vancouver High School Reunions and belonged to the Junior Women's Club. She was involved with many bible studies, enjoyed daily devotions, and a member of First Christian Church and Columbia Christian Church.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husbands, Thurston A. Thibodeau, died 1970, Percy E. Thom, died 1985, and Francis R. Betzing, died 2000. She is survived by her 4 children: William Thibodeaux of Albany, OR, Linda Bogar and Paula Clark of Corvallis, OR, and Neal Thibodeaux of Woodland, WA; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grand children; 7 step-children: Anne Weeks of West Linn, Albany, OR, Leah Nelson of Turner, OR, Diane Allen of Salem, OR, Margie Davis of Washougal, WA, Joann McMichael of Sun City, AZ, Dorothy Betzing of Vancouver, WA, Don Betzing of Seabeck, WA, and Rick Betzing of Vancouver, WA; 14 step grandchildren, 19 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver, WA.
A viewing for family and friends will be held 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
