January 8, 1941 ~ April 27, 2018

Loving mother of three and the family glue peacefully passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Neatha was born and raised in the Vancouver area graduating from Hudson's Bay High School in 1959 and then served in the Air Force where she met the father of her children William Lefevre. She later obtained her BA Degree from San Jose State and Master's Degree from City University.
Neatha was an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of continuous study and application of occupational therapy and sensory processing theories spending over 20 years with the Vancouver School District helping students with autism spectrum disorders. She was involved with the Autism Society of Washington (ASW) for 22 years serving on the ASW Board of Directors, was Chair of the ASW Professional Advisory Board, and the proud recipient of the 2003 Autism Society of Washington's Life Time Achievement Award. Neatha was also a strong community activist and was passionate about environmental issues. As an Air Force Veteran, she was very active in advocating locally for Female Veteran rights.
Neatha was proceeded by her mother Ann Wall and father Clay Finch; sister Sherry; daughter Vicki and son Bill. She is survived by her son Chris; granddaughter Nicole and her children; sisters Maxine, Laurie, Andy; brothers Mark and Mike; along with many other loving family members. She will be dearly missed by all.
Service will be held on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens 1101 NE 112th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684.
Donations can be made in her honor to Autism Society of Washington.
