NANCY J. MARTIN
October 20, 1942 ~ January 17, 2011

Nancy J. Martin, 68, of Vancouver, WA, died Monday, January 17, 2011 at her home. She was born October 20, 1942 in Vancouver to F.S. and Jean Martin.
Nancy graduated from Evergreen High School and then the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Portland, OR in 1963.
After graduation she continued to work at Good Samaritan Hospital for many years. Eventually she left to work at a private practice with Dr. Steffan in Camas, WA, until his retirement, and finally landed at McLoughlin Family Practice in Vancouver, where she worked for 18 years.
Nancy was a wonderful knitter. She loved plants and flowers and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed playing the organ for church services and was devoted to her nieces, nephews and family.
Nancy is survived by her mother, Jean E. Martin; sisters, Susan (Rod) Miller and Janet (Bill) Fallon; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Paula) Syverson, Kelley (Troy) Schley, Chris (Nerissa) Fallon, Shannon (Ryan) Hardie, Tracy DeYoung, and Tiffany (Doug) Ketchum. She is the great-aunt of nine and great-great-aunt of one.
There will be a graveside service for Nancy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Park Hill Cemetery, 5915 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA .
