Michael P. Ender, 80, of Sparta, died on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, in Sparta, WI. He was born on Oct. 21, 1941, to Elmer and Erma (Knoll) Ender in Sparta, WI.
Mike would meet his future wife, Gerry Higdon while serving in the United States Navy. On Feb. 3, 1962, Mike married Gerry, where they celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage.
Mike is survived by his wife, Gerry; children, Allan (Tony) Ender, Eric (Sandy) Ender, Cindy (Bruce) Altman, Brandy (Tami) Ender; grandchildren, Nathanael (Jessica) Culpitt, Bodhi (Meghan) Ender, Emily (Danny) McGee, Keith Ender, Kobe Culpitt and Zachary Ender; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Vivian. Mike is also survived by his sister Joyce Anderson and sister-in-law Beverly Ender. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Tre; brother, Conrad; and brother-in-law, Verdell.
Memorial service to be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta. Reverend Jef Skinner to officiate. Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
