MICHAEL JOSEPH WADZITA
August 4, 1956 ˜ November 1, 2018
Michael Joseph Wadzita, born on August 4, 1956 in Richland, Washington, to the late Elizabeth Wadzita and the late Mike Wadzita, passed away on November 1, 2018 at the age of 62 in Vancouver, Washington.
Michael graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1978 with a Bachelor Degree in Physics. He was in the Test and Measurement Industry at Tektronix as a Marketing Product Planner for 40 years until retiring in 2018. Michael was the beloved husband of Pamela Wadzita for 34 years. He is survived by his sons, Alec Wadzita and Matthew Wadzita; daughter, Tori Wadzita; and sister, Mary Woth. He also leaves behind his adored dog, Gillyweed.
Mike loved all that the Northwest had to offer. He had a passion for hiking, camping, rock climbing, metal working, metal music, Disney family trips, and working on the family Volvos.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the funeral service on Thursday, November 29 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 400 S Andresen Road, Vancouver, Washington, 98661.
Donations in Michael’s name to Street Roots (Portland, OR), Give Kids The World, and American Lung Cancer Association are welcome and appreciated.

I just read about Mike and am so very sad. The world is a dimmer place now. I have many memories of him, one of the best being his sitting with Katy in front of your fireplace. one Christmas. They are both smiling down at us now. You have a special family and will somehow survive his loss, Love to you.
