Michael Alfred Wilcox, Sr., age 68, died February 28, 2017 at PeaceHealth Hospital after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Vancouver, WA on June 22, 1948 to Alfred and Marion Wilcox. Mike grew up in Washougal, WA where he graduated from high school in 1966.
After high school, he went on to become a journeyman electrician at the Camas Paper Mill where he retired after 37 years of service at the age of 55.
Mike was happiest at home, on Mt. Norway,
spending time with his family and many friends.
Mike is survived by his wife, Twyla; daughter, Kari Murphy; son, Michael Wilcox, Jr. (Pam); stepson, Mark Wilson; stepdaughter, Shelley Craig (Chris); grandsons, Nicholas, Kyle, and Matthew; granddaughters, Brooklynn, Taylor, and Kady; brothers, Dick Larsen (Becky) and Daryl Wilcox (Amy); sisters, Glenda Branson and Janet Keenan (Bill); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., March 11, 2017 at 2:00p.m. at the Camas Union Hall on 5th and Dallas.
