LOLA J. TAVARES
November 9, 1941 ~ April 28, 2011

Lola J. Tavares, 69, passed away on April 28, 2011 in Vancouver, WA. She was born on November 9, 1941 in Nampa, ID to Jim and Vivian Quintana. In 1959, she married Raymond Tavares and had four children. She was an excellent wife and mother. She had a passion for family, cooking, interior decorating, writing and shopping. She owned two convenience stores. She loved people. And all who knew her, loved her too.
Lola is survived by her husband, Ray Tavares; her children, Rocky Tavares, Darla Walker, Tony Tavares, and Jim Tavares; her grandchildren, Destiny, Angie, Kris, Danielle, Mindy, Josh, Cody, Teague and Cohen; her great-grandchildren, Maddisen, Cristian, Eve, Anna, Christopher and Ashleigh; her four siblings, RoseMarie Quintana, John Quintana, Vicky Brown and Rex Quintana; and also many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on May 12, 2011 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
