Lloyd Harrison Warner, age 95, passed away on May 10th, 2018 in Vancouver, WA. Born on January 4th, 1923, in Nelson, British Columbia, Lloyd was the youngest of three children born to Harry and Margaret Warner. The family relocated to Spokane and then settled in Yakima, WA, where Lloyd graduated from Yakima High School.
Lloyd joined the Army and served in Europe during World War II, earning the Purple Heart.
Upon his honorable discharge from the service, he enrolled in the University of Washington and graduated with Bachelor of Science.
Lloyd was employed by the United States Forest Service for many years, and retired in 1977.
He enjoyed reading, yard work, and volunteered for many years at Share House. He helped build the current Glenwood Church facility.
Lloyd is survived by Kay, his wife of 70 years; daughters, Carol (David) Kelley and Beth (Randy) Grambo; son, Ross Warner; sister, Edris Clark; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Tues., June 19th at Glenwood Community Church, 12201 NE 72nd Ave., Vancouver, WA 98686.
Memorial donations may be made in Lloyd's name to Glenwood Community Church Missions Fund, 12201 NE 72nd Ave., Vancouver, WA 98686.

Lloyd was a kind man. I enjoyed seeing him in church and helping with various needs. I saw him teach at Bible school in craft projects. He will be missed, but we'll see him again in eternity! Prayers for those left behind. I'm sure they miss him!
