LEONARD DEFORD

Leonard DeFord passed away at age 78 on October 28, 2018. He retired as a Dispatcher for Clark P.U.D.
His hobbies were spending time in the outdoors, bicycling, running, dirt bikes and motorcycling, fishing, and he built a drift boat. He loved his garden and raising blueberries. He ran a sawmill and drove for a medical cab company. He loved to talk to people and he also loved the Lord and shared whenever the door was open to do so.
He leaves behind a wife of 37 years, Roberta DeFord; his children, Danielle (Dan) Wisner, Dale (Anna) DeFord; stepchildren, Randall (Shawn) Christensen, Ronda (James) Greger and Gary Christensen; 7 grandchildren, with 1 grandson due in Dec. to carry on the family legacy; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma DeFord; and brother, Jim DeFord.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Felida Baptist Church, 3027 NW 119th St., Vancouver, WA.
