LAWRENCE LEWIS MCEATHRON

Lawrence Lewis McEathron, 87 years, passed away on Oct. 27, 2017 in Washougal, WA. He was born Merrill and Gertrude (Finley) McEathron on June 22, 1930 in Harrisburg, NY. Lawrence was a 53 year resident of Clark County of which 45 years were in Washougal, WA.
He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas, WA and had proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Lawrence was a member of the V.F.W. Post #4278 and the Twin City Saddle Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, motorcycles, collecting boats, cars and tractors, and had a pilots license to fly small planes.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 66 years, LaVesta, at home; sons, Lawrence L. McEathron, Jr. of Captain Cook, Hawaii, Patrick V. (Tami) McEathron of Vancouver, WA, and Jasen M. (Billie Jo) McEathron of Washougal, WA; daughters, LaVesta Marie (Martin) Watson of Camas, WA, Belinda L. McEathron of Scottsdale, AZ, and Colleen Michelle (Jon) Russell of Camas, WA; sister, Elizabeth Glachman of Gouverneur, New York; 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael; three brothers and five sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs., Nov. 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 324 NE Oak St., Camas, WA. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Washougal, WA.
