LARRY THOMAS CRESAP
September 24, 1938 ~ June 21, 2018

Larry Thomas Cresap grew up in Battle Ground, WA and graduated high school in 1956. He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen. They were married for 32 years.
His family includes sons - Dennis J. Cresap, Eugene, OR; Edward J. Cresap, Vancouver, WA; Daren T. Cresap (Tammy) La Center, WA; stepchildren Melinda Burbidge, West Mineral, KS; Michael Crawford (deceased); Mark Crawford, Vancouver and Marcia Kietzke, Vancouver; sisters Linda Lowe, Vancouver and Sharon Gano, Battle Ground; brother Michael Cresap (predeceased), and many nieces and nephews; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grand- children and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A few years after high school, Larry joined the U.S. Army where he served for two years. Upon his discharge from the military, he went to work in the drywall construction industry and eventually began his own business, L. Cresap Drywall for about 20 years. He then started longshoring at the Port of Vancouver ILWU#4 and transferred to the Port of Tacoma ILWU#23. Larry retired from longshoring in 2003 and he and Colleen moved to the Ocean Shores area near the beach which they loved. Larry was an enjoyable man with a good sense of humor and a big hearty laugh. We all loved him and will miss him.
A "Celebration of Life' will be held in August. Call Daren (after July 20) for the date, time and place. 360-263-2287 or 360-601-2967.
