Kohong Jack Sun, 67, of Vancouver, WA, passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2017. He was born in Pusan, S. Korea to Jung Fang and Yulan Sung. He graduated from the National Taiwan University and he continued his education at Portland State University. He married his wife, Joy, in 1972 and together they raised two children, Krystal and Jonathan. Kohong had many hobbies, and every hobby he picked up he mastered. He loved gardening, cutting stones, fishing, hunting, golfing and mushroom hunting. He also stayed up on current events and was a savvy business man. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy. He is survived by his second wife, Yuexin; children, Jonathan and Krystal; stepchildren, Jack and Hannah; grandson, Robert; siblings, Bruce, Catherine, Brian, Danny; and soon to arrive grandson, Jack Lawrence. All services are being held at Finley Sunset Hills Mortuary: A viewing will be held on October 19th from 2-5p.m.; October 20th, 10a.m.-5p.m.; and October 21st, 3-5p.m. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 22nd at 9:30a.m. with a committal service to follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Park.
