KEVIN WAYNE HUGI

Kevin Wayne Hugi was born in Gresham, OR, Dec. 17, 1973. He passed away on Oct. 4, 2021, at the age of 47.
After high school, Kevin joined the United States Air Force, and later in life the Army National Guard. Kevin served his country with pride.
Kevin was the type of man who enjoyed the simplicity of life. He loved nature walks, and was an avid football fan, his favorite team being the Seattle Seahawks. He was a jokester who was constantly laughing and making others laugh. Kevin loved being surrounded by friends and family, never denying an opportunity to have a get-together at his home to enjoy the food he loved with the people that he loved. He was a loud, cheerful man with a big heart that shined brightly.
Kevin was married to the love of his life, Sunita Hugi, whom he spent 10 wonderful years with. They traveled to many places together, exploring the world around them. He is survived by wife, Sunita Hugi; daughters, Savanna Hugi, Franchesqua Hugi, and Gracie Hugi; step-children, Katherine Phan and Daniel Phan; and sisters, Amy Howard and Lisa Bennett.
On Oct. 29, 2021, a service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery at 9 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony held at Namaste Indian Cuisine, 8303 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97220, at 5-8 p.m.
