Kathi was one of my favorite childhood friends.
My funniest memory of her is when we were just 13 years old.
Kathi owned a horse and it was being boarded at a Simi Valley ranch. So, one beautiful sunny California day Kathy and I decided to go horseback riding. Her mom drove us to the ranch and dropped us off for a few hours.
Well, Kathi was convinced that her horse was not being treated fairly.
So, next thing I know we are riding her horse bareback together thru hills and fields to bring her horse back to her house in the suburbs. Kathi´s dad comes home from work that day to find the horse in the backyard!
It was such fun whenever I got to spend time with her. We lost touch thru the years, but I always remembered and told this story to my children and grandchildren.
She was definitely a handful for her parents at times.
I wish we could of had one last visit together to laugh and share stories. Rest In Peace Kathi
