"Kathy", daughter of Ted and Minnie Davis, and loving mother to Everett "Bud" Bogert, Jane Kirk, Gregg Bogert (deceased) and Mary Getty (husband Dan), passed peacefully April 4th, 2017, surrounded by friends and family.
Kathy was a lifelong resident of the Camas/Washougal, WA area and a proud member of the class of 1958 at Washougal High School. She also attended Clark College School of Nursing.
Throughout her life, Kathy was a caring
and giving soul with a wonderful sense of humor
and a flair for making friends wherever she went.
Professionally, Kathy spent her life caring for others. Until her retirement in 2003, she worked for Prestige Care at Rose Vista Nursing Center caring for Alzheimer's patients. In death, she continued to give as a tissue donor. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her friends, spending time with her grandchildren: Daniel Kirk, Bud Bogert, Caitlin Bogert and Lillian Getty, watching her beloved Trailblazers; and growing flowers. She was a past member of the National Chrysanthemum Society and a current member of the Red Hat Society.
Kathy requested a "get-together" at home to celebrate her life. Friends are invited to a luncheon at her home in Washougal, 12:00 p.m. on Sat., April 29th, 2017.
