Dad,

Its been a month now since you've passed away. And it hasn't gotten any easier. I think about you everyday and wish I could hear you yelling at the people on the news. I find myself watching the history channel as of lately, it some how gives me comfort. I know that I will never get over never being able to see you again. But I know that I have you everywhere I go!

I know that you're up there with our father God watching over us. One thing I just imagine is you up there in your prime with your sache on and I just wonder what color yours is. It's probably a color I couldn't even imagine. I learned that their are more colors in heaven then we even know about. Its amazing to me how much joy and love my heart can feel when I think about you being up there with our father. You were an amazing man Dad and I thank you for being the first man to introduce the Lord to me and the only man to never have lied to me.

There's a verse in the bible that I have to constantly remind myself of in the book of Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Which tells me that anything that comes my way I can beat as long as I have The Lord with me.

I LOVE YOU DAD! AND MISS YOU! I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN.!

My Uncle Jon,

You were my mom's baby brother. It hurts my heart so much to know that you are gone. I am so glad I reached out to you and got to know you. That you met, and got to know my boys, your great-nephews. I am so glad you got to meet my husband, since my dad couldn't. You are greatly missed. Love you, Uncle Jon.

Uncle Jon you will be missed by all. You loved like no one else and are a true American. I will always remember the times we shared and the advice you gave. You are one of my heroes. We will meet again and you'll always live on in my heart.

Love you uncle Jon

My dear brother, I miss you so very much! i cannot say goodbye. i will say I love you and I will see you later.

I still have no words. Song titles and lyrics are ever present tho. The first one is Did You Know You're My Hero? I've watched you your whole life. From near and far. We've been close and distant. Through it all you faced life with so much courage and grace. One of dad's favorite words was acceptance. You lived courage, grace and acceptance. Whatever came your way you faced head on like the warrior you are.

The other song is Go Rest High On That Mountain. You fought like a warrior and now it is time for you to rest. Rest assured knowing how much your presence is missed. While I have a degree of comfort in the fact you are no longer suffering it doesn't erase the empty space in my heart.

Watch over us dear brother! Thank you for being you.

With all my Love, Marjorie Louise

Mom told me you wanted a certain song played at your funeral. I listened to it recently and couldn't help but cry as it's the perfect song for you. It hits close to home because there were times where we were like, ugh... dad's going on one of his crazy political rants again. But you were right about all of the evil in the workd, even though I never said it. And I'm sorry you felt alone in all of this. That's what hurts my heart the most.

I wished I could have taken the cancer and pain away so you could live another day.

We all miss you, and the kids just don't quite understand why grandpa's not here anymore. But, we know you're still with us and keeping us strong throughout all of this. We'll be there for mom as best and as much as we can.

Love you dad, until we meet again.

Dad,

While I am relieved you're not in pain anymore or suffering, it's just not the same without you. We miss you terribly. The grandbabies ask about you often and tell me they miss you. It's hard not breaking down when I'm trying to find the words to say to them. I know you're looking over us, and protecting us all. Just keep doing it. I will do what I can down here to help mom, and the family. We love you very much. All of us. ❤

To the love of my life. I wish you were still in the garage talking on your cb, working on the cars, playing with the grandchildren or up in the mountains shooting your guns and 4 wheeling with your buddies. But I know your in a better place and out of pain and watching over us and protecting us still. I will treasure the 31 years we had together good and bad. I love you and miss you so much. Its goodbye its Ill see you later. until we meet again. Love Angel Eyes
