"John was a sweet and generous man
who will be greatly missed by his family and friends."

John Michael Lucas passed away on March 15, 2011, at the age of 57. He was born in Fort Leavenworth, KS, but lived in Vancouver, WA the last 34 years of his life.
John was an Army veteran, having served from 1973-1977 at the end of the Vietnam war.
John loved "black powder rifle" hunting, golfing, fishing, and going to the beach with his wife and family. He was a big NASCAR fan.
John is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Dreda; a daughter, Desiree Radtke and her husband, Jeremy; a son, Kipp Lucas; grandchildren, Haidyn Lucas, Brook Radtke and Carson Radtke; two sisters, Lora Shelton and Suzie Lucas; sister-in-law, Diana Condon and her husband, Tim; three nieces, Stacie Anady, Jaylene Wiley and Torie Young; two nephews, Ben and Michael Wiley; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Per John's request, there will be no service or memorial. There will be a private family ocean side service sometime in the future.
Thanks to all who in this time of sadness have lent their love, kindness, and support, it is much appreciated.
