John Lehner, born May 27, 1943, was the second eldest of 11 children of John and Alice Lehner of Battle Ground, WA. He died in his home of a brain tumor, January 1, 2019, surrounded in the days prior, by family and friends, maintaining his sense of humor throughout. He resided in Clark County his entire 75 years.
John graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1961 and attended 1 year at Clark College.
He retired from Blue Bell Potato Chip Co., Portland, OR, after 32 years then went on to work for Campbell Pet Co., Vancouver, WA, for 21 years. John was always known for his strong work ethic and dependability.
He enjoyed bowling in earlier years, scoring two 300 (perfect) games. Recently he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling with his wife, playing golf with his brother Pete, woodworking and gardening.
