John Harold Collins, born in Vancouver, WA, passed away at age 76. He graduated from Fort Vancouver in 1960.
John served in the Air Force and worked at Burlington Northern Railroad until he retired in 2002.
John is survived by his wife of 17 years, Ardis; sons, Dean and David (their mother Sandra); daughter, Kara; brothers, Don and Ryan; and grandchildren, Jordan and James.
He had a passion for car collecting of almost everything old, especially Model A's. Back in the day he enjoyed metal fab and welding, and farming/ranching.
Our memories of John will forever live in our hearts.
We will miss him.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at The Hampton at Salmon Creek for taking such great care of him the last few years. We really appreciate it.
Friends and family may attend John's Celebration of Life on Sun., July 22nd, from 2p.m.-5:30p.m. at Hazel Dell Park, 2300 NE 68th St., Vancouver, WA.
