JoDeen Jean Osterhaus-Nelson of Oregon City, OR passed away Aug. 10, 2018. She was born in Vancouver to Katherine Lorraine Habich and Willfred Vallire Osterhaus.
Jodeen attended Columbia River High School, graduating in the Class of '71.
She worked as a bartender in Vancouver, WA and Clackamas, OR until 2005, when she joined her husband, Skip, to help out with his painting business. She became a very proficient painter and color consultant to their customers.
Jodeen enjoyed gardening, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and entertaining friends and family, especially at Christmas, her favorite time of the year. She also enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband, but her favorite thing was shopping.
Jodeen is survived by her husband, William, "Skip" Neldon; brother, Arnie Osterhaus; stepfather, Norman "Benny" Benson; children, Alie and Colby Renner; stepchildren, Josh Renner, Shawn, Zachary, Avery, Emily and Lindsay Neldon; grandchildren, Scarlette Salas, Reed, Andrew, Kayla, Tagen, Jayden, Regan Renner, Noah and Sophia Neldon; nephews, Uri and Anton Osterhaus; niece, Mika Osterhaus; cousins, Deanne Rogers, Taska Barlow, D.J. Habich, John, Dee Dee, Mary Ellen, Frank, David and Larry Osterhaus; and very dear friends, Dan and Kathy Main.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 8, 2018 at noon in her home, 20067 Torrey Pines Drive, Oregon City, OR 97045.
