Jenna, 48, died peacefully in her home in Vancouver, WA, under the care of her family.
Jenna had a passion for learning and was an excellent student. She graduated from Rex Putnam High School in 1981 and attended Oregon State University. After college she continued her education at Portland Community College in the Dental Hygiene Program. She loved working as a dental hygienist.
On September 11, 1993, Jenna married Eric Folden and the couple moved to Vancouver, WA in 1994. They were blessed with two wonderful boys, Cooper and Jack. Jenna lived out her dream of being a wife, stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She found great enjoyment watching her boys participate in their various activities. She loved working in the yard and creating a beautiful home inside and out. She especially loved to decorate during the holidays.
Jenna was a strong woman of faith. She loved her church family and served faithfully to those around her. Jenna served for a short time as an Assistant Director of Women's Ministries at Summit View church. She enjoyed leading a bible study in her home for many years and loved planning events.
Jenna was passionate about her family and friends. Jenna enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies and activities. She was a master gardener and loved her annual family vacations to Sun River. She was an avid watcher of the Food Channel and the beach was her favorite place to relax.
Jenna showed courage, dignity and humor in her battle against colon cancer. She selflessly rendered compassion, friendship and shared her own strong faith with those she met during her chemo therapy sessions and was especially close to Tara and Jessica, her chemo nurse angels.
