Jeffery Allen Myers, age 50, of Juliaetta, ID, passed away on April 7th, 2016 of natural causes. He was born on May 12th, 1965 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Dennis Myers and Paula (Hamby) Schaffer. Jeff spent most of his childhood growing up in the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho area. There he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and camping in the mountains.
Upon graduation from Lakeland High School in Rathdrum, Jeff moved to the Vancouver, Washington area where he attended Clark College to obtain certifications in the auto painting program. He worked at several auto body shops in the Vancouver area, including many years at Todd's Auto Body.
Jeff married Kimi Mattox (Myers) in 1992 and had a baby girl, Hayley, in 1994. While living in Vancouver, he attended Crossroads Community Church.
In the summer of 2014, Jeff moved back to his roots in Idaho and started his own auto body and paint shop, Diamond Collison, where he worked until his untimely death.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Schaffer; his grandparents, Minnie and Alford Hamby; his grandparents, Stephen and Irene Myers; uncle, Phillip Hamby; and aunt, Linda Bean.
Jeff is survived by his beloved daughter, Hayley Myers and son-in-law Rodolfo Moreno; father and step-mother, Dennis and Roberta Myers; sister, Kristie Myers; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Mark Pelphrey; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A family memorial is planned for a later date.
