JAMES V. SKALMAN
July 17, 2000 ~ July 30, 2018

James V. Skalman, 18 years old, passed away after a tragic accidental shooting. Jamie was taken to the emergency hospital and later to Hopewell House in Portland, OR where he received excellent care from both places. He was born to Nathan Skalman and Angela Barron in Alaska and later moved to Vancouver, WA for awhile. Then they moved to the morage near the Columbia River.
Jamie is survived by his father and step-mother, Nathan and Kristi; sister, Amber Skalman; aunt, Lee Chatwood; uncle, Milt Skalman, grandparents, Jeffery Skalman and Debbie Cooper, and grandmother Chris; great-grandparents, Jeanine and Gene Skalman and Jean Cooper.
A graveside service will be held Sat., Aug. 11, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Fisher Cemetery, 16509 SE Evergreen Hwy, Vancouver, WA 98683.
