James E. Farrell, 58, of Hillsboro, OR, passed away of natural causes on Jan. 1, 2011. He was born on Jan. 6, 1952 in Vancouver, WA to Mary Ella and Bill Farrell. He graduated from Jesuit High School in Beaverton, OR and attended Oregon State University.
Jim worked as a Quantity Estimator at Parr Lumber in Hillsboro for many years prior to establishing his own estimating business.
Jim enjoyed creating metal sculpture, gardening, traveling and celebrating family events.
Jim is survived by both parents; his brother, Barry; his sisters, Ellen (Les) Jonsson and Ann (Jaime) Cedeno; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and long-time friends.
A memorial service will take place at Mother Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Vancouver, WA at 11:00 a.m. on Sat., Jan. 29, 2011.
