GREGORY ALAN KAPPLER
April 23, 1960 ˜ September 15, 2018

Greg Kappler passed away peacefully in his beloved Longview, Washington home early last week due to natural causes. Born in Portland, Oregon on April 23, 1960, he later graduated from Columbia River High School in Vancouver, Washington in 1978.
Greg worked at Frito Lay for over 20 years, as well as at a variety of other jobs, before moving to Lincoln City, Oregon. After several years on the coast, Greg settled in Longview where he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, cooking, and renovating his home.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Kappler; his siblings, Mark Kappler and Lynn Glass; his children, Kelli and Kyle Kappler; a granddaughter; as well as four nieces and nephews.
There will be an open house Celebration of Life held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Columbia North clubhouse (14204 NE 10th Ave., Vancouver, WA, 98685) from 1p.m.-4p.m.
