GRACE LILLIAN LAMB
January 13, 1928 ~ July 18, 2018

Grace Lamb, loving Mother, Grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2018 with family at her side. As a devout Christian, she is now rejoicing in Heaven with her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Grace was born and raised in Winnipeg MB, Canada and later immigrated to California with her family, where they became United States citizens in 1950. In 1953, she met and married the love of her life, Calvin Lamb.
Grace was passionate about her relationship with God and her prayer list was many pages long. Those who knew her were touched by her kindness and generosity.
Grace was a gifted pianist, who often wrote her own songs and accompanied her mother when she sang. Favorite hobbies included baking for and with her children and grandchildren, and attending all of their sporting events, plays, recitals, and concerts. She was our best cheerleader and biggest fan!
Grace is survived by her six children, Connie Bowman (Rick), Sheila Carder, Paul Lamb (Kay), Bev Dobler, John Lamb (Teresa) and Linda Lamb; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gordon Penner, Jim Penner (Carol) and Carolyn Huffman (Ralph).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lillian Penner; and her loving husband of 50 years, Calvin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11a.m. on Aug. 18, 2018 at Compass Church, 1812 Main St., Vancouver, WA.
The family is grateful for the care Grace received at Integrity Care Adult Family Home during her 8-1/2 year battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia, and to Peace Health Hospice for the comfort they provided.
