I loved Gertrude and look forward to seeing her in heaven. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She and Butch are special people. I respect them for their lives and faith. I know God has sheltered them in the palm of His hands. They were good to our children and had patience with John, Micah, and Geneva and me as neighbors.

We wish we could have been there to attend her celebration. Gert and Butch were good neighbors to us--we loved them dearly. I know they both are in a wonderful place with our Lord.
