Gary Raymond Hart, 75, of Vancouver, WA, passed away at home on Sept. 12, 2015. He was born May 14, 1940 in Grand Forks, ND to Joseph and Lillian Hart.
Gary served in the Army National Guard and retired from the City of Vancouver as a Firefighter.
He enjoyed building historical model engines, fishing, hunting, and backpacking. He was a member of the NW Blacksmiths Association in Vancouver and Portland, and Mid Valley Model Engineering Clubs.
Gary is survived by his wife, Sharen of Vancouver; son, Kevin Hart (Jennifer) of Battle Ground, WA; and brother, Duane Hart of Halliday, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Levon Hart.
A memorial service will be held on Tues., Sept. 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 401 E. 33rd St., Vancouver, WA 98663.
