"Ernie was always helping others out."

Ernest "Ernie" E. Martinson of Brush Prairie, WA, passed away on June 2, 2011 at the age of 86. He was the last living member of his family. He was born in Leadville, CO on Aug. 25, 1923 to John and Louise (Kallbuka) Martinson.
Ernie served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Alaska.
He enjoyed gardening, working on automobiles and bowling.
Ernie was a member of the Elks, American Legion and 40 et 8.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray (co-owner of their dairy farm) on Jan. 12, 2011; sister, Ethel Johnston; and his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Wed., June 8, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Garden of Faith at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
