DORIS M. WINTER
September 2, 1921 ˜ July 2,
2020

Doris M. Winter was born, raised and lived in Vancouver, Washington. She was the 2nd daughter of Floyd and Daisy McIrvin, Helen was her older sister.
Doris was a legal secretary at the Clark County Courthouse for many years.
She raised 6 children, Leslie, Scott, Kaye, Kent, Larry, and Chris. She has 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Doris was a strong independent woman who liked to travel. She enjoyed painting, growing flowers and puttering around the yard as well.
Doris went peacefully on a beautiful day. She will be sorely missed by all.
Graveside gathering will be at Park Hill Cemetery, July 25th, 2:00 pm. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.

She was my favorite aunt. I have not lived in the area for a long time but I remember her as always smiling and positive. I will miss her.

I was only around Doris a few times but her smile and kind spirit were always evident. I knew Larry and his personality showed through to his mom

Doris was a strong woman! Always cheerful and positive. Always holding to her principles. I enjoyed having her as a friend as well as my aunt. We need more people like her.
