Donna Joyce Hancuff Baxter went to be with the Lord on Feb. 15, 2011. She was born the eldest daughter of five children to LeRoy and Ellen Hancuff. She was born on Dec. 17, 1933 in St. Helens, OR and was raised on a farm in the Felida area of Vancouver, WA.
Donna married John E. Baxter, 58 years ago, on March 18, 1952.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Woodbuilt Co. for 52 years.
Donna loved the challenges of her job as well as the love of her family, roses, ice cream, taking rides and her pig collection. She spent many years working in her church as she was strong in her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Donna is survived by husband, John Baxter; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Jeff Johnson; grandchildren, Jill, Jenny and Clint Johnson; three siblings, Bev Poff, Margaret Lamm and husband Mel, LeRoy Hancuff and wife Alice.
She was preceded in death by sister, Laura Lee Ragan.
Services will be held at First Friends Church, 2710 N.E. 65th Ave. Vancouver, WA on Feb. 26, 2011 at 5:30 p.m.
