Donald "Don" Wayne Bernard, 62, passed away at his residence in Vancouver, WA on March 27, 2018. He was born in Portland, OR and raised by Fredrick Donald Bernard and Lois Berniece Bernard. Don graduated from Hudson's Bay High School in Vancouver in 1973.
He served in the United States Army.
He was a master electrician, life long member of the National Rifle Association, and loved to fish.
Don was the Founder and President of a successful commercial refrigeration business. His skills regarding mechanical and technical engineering were unparalleled.
Don is survived by his wife, Georgina "Georgie" Faye Donahue Bernard; daughter, Tonni Cone (Ryan); sister, Bobbi Moon; brother, David Bernard; and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Bernard; and his parents.
In honoring Don's request, there will not be a public memorial service. Services and internment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's name to the , Memorial and Honor Gifts, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
