DONALD CORBETT SARGEANT
November 11, 1933 ~ August 7, 2018
Donald Corbett Sargeant passed away in Vancouver, WA after a long illness caused by cancer. He was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Dave and Margarita Sargeant.
He graduated as an engineer from the University of Alberta and worked in the petroleum business for 20 years. In 1954, he was married and had two daughters.
In 1973, Donald married Susan and worked internationally as a project manager until retirement, living and working in Iran, Argentina, South Africa, and Indonesia. He and Sue traveled extensively before, during and after those postings, and shared many adventures.
Donald is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan; his two daughters, Sandi Johnson (John) and Peggy Albee (Ron); granddaughter, Jennifer Fancher (Andy); and two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Aspen.
There will be no services at his request.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Group at Kaiser Permanente, or the Audubon Society.

Don was a fine human being and a true friend. He inspired us in many ways. We remember him with fondness and gratitude.
