How very sad I was to learn of Darrrell's death through his obituary printed in the Pinconning Journal. I always had in the back of my mind visiting Darrrell in conjunction with a trip to Oregon to visit our son and daughter-in-law in Bend, but now that's too late. I am a second cousin to Darrell and we went through high school together. I am now 78 and live in Albuquerque, NM.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Those we hold dear will remain in our hearts forever. Darrell was a dear neighbor and friend to many; sharing his bounties from his vegetable garden to always lending a helping hand.

My condolence to Rita and the kids. Darrell was a man everyone should have known. Full of inspiration and always such a positive guy willing to help out anyone for any reason. I personally will miss you a great deal.

What a shock to read about Darrell's passing this morning. My friendship w/Darrell goes back to the 50's. He was always so concerned about others. I worked w/Darrell for so many years and could always count on him being there when he was needed. There were times when you would find Darrell and I on the golf course when we were skipping our work responsibilities. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rita and their family.
