DALE EUGENE BUCK
August 21, 1954 ~ June 18, 2015
"Dale was a kind and gentle father,
a loving husband, a true and loyal friend,
a mentor to scores of young people, a man of few words, but the words he spoke were essential."
Dale Eugene Buck, 60, born in Vancouver, WA, was tragically killed last Thurs., June 18, 2015.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Dale Buck, loved him. He was an artist in the truest sense of the word. Dale left a legacy of elegant stonework throughout Washington, Oregon and Alaska. He was a painter, a poet, and a landscape artist of epic proportions. If you ever visited their five acre home in Ridgefield, WA of 30 years, you would have marveled at the grace and elegance this man could finesse out of a pile of rocks and logs and earth.
But even all of his visual artistry is dwarfed
by the artistry with which he crafted his relationships to the people in his life, because Dale saw
everything and everybody through a lense of love.
We miss him so much.
Dale is survived by his wife, Susan Degenhardt-Buck; their three children, Benjamin Buck, Sarah Buck, and Nicholas Buck; his mother, Kathleen Buck-Cooper; brothers, John Buck, Don Buck, Tom Buck, and Tim Buck; and sisters, Susan Buck and Mary Hart.
