April 8, 1941 ~ May 12, 2011

Cynthia was born April 8, 1941 to Christopher and Irma Smith in Wenatchee, Washington. She was raised in Coulee Dam, and was one of five children.
She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Jeter on December 31, 1958. She was a wonderful mother to their five children Judy, Jim, Janet, John and Jennifer. Cynthia devoted her life to her family.
Cindy helped her family build strong bonds through numerous activities; and always made sure her family's time together was fun, playful, and encouraging. The Jeter family loved hiking, camping, traveling, singing and spending quality time together. One of the Jeter's favorite places was their beach house in Cannon Beach, Oregon where the family has many happy memories.
Cynthia also made many friends throughout her life in the numerous communities in which she made her home. She was actively involved in her church and participated in many civic activities.
Cindy loved all children; especially babies who bonded with her instantly, and she greatly enjoyed taking care of them. She was a private nanny to numerous families and ran her own daycare facility. Cindy also owned numerous restaurants and a woman's retail shop.
She is survived by her older sisters Mary and Joanne, and was preceded in death by her brother Roger, sister Linda and her parents.
Cynthia is loved deeply by her surviving family; husband Jim; children: Judy and John Deeds, Jim Jeter, Janet and Galen Eggert, John and Andrea Jeter and Jennifer and Mark Hough; grandchildren: Jeremiah and Amber, Jared and Sarah, Amanda and Tyson, John and Rebecca, Kellen, Cynthia, Alex, Christiana, Tanner, Byron, Reagan, Lillian, and Ryder; and great-grand children: Levi, Christian, Kaden and Rileyann.
A celebration of Cynthia¹s life will be held at East Park Church in
Vancouver, Washington on June 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
