Obituary

CONNIE JUNE (COKE) COZAD
February 28, 1951 ~ April 19, 2011
"Connie will be greatly missed
and never forgotten by anyone who ever knew her."

Connie June (Coke) Cozad passed away on April 19, 2011 in Vancouver, WA at the age of 60 from cancer. She was born Feb. 28, 1951 to Clifford and Doris June Moore in Coffeyville, KS.
She moved to the Northwest in 1982 and worked in the medical field in Eugene, OR and Vancouver, WA.
Connie lived every moment to the fullest
and found great joy in all of the interesting people
she met along the way and in just being alive every day.
Connie was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of 17 and told she would never live to see 30. She never let that stop her from going to work every day and doing the things that made her happy. For many years now her greatest satisfaction has come from making beautiful quilts for her family, one member at a time. Those lucky enough to have one consider them to be prized family heirlooms.
Connie is survived by her husband, David Cozad of Kennewick, WA; mother and step-father, Norman and June Benson; sister, Linda Werner; niece, Shannon Shipman, all of Vancouver; and nephew, Matthew Werner of Eugene, OR.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
